Jacques Marie Mage is a Los Angeles-based producer of limited-edition designer goods that specialize in the micro-production of high quality eyewear for a clientele of discerning taste.

Your responsibilities are – but not limited to:

·       Assist the marketing team in all aspects of design process

·       Design high quality and innovative marketing material

·       Perform other related duties as assigned

·       Design and organize special projects in time with calendar deadlines

 

 

Required Skills and Experience:

Jacques Marie Mage is a maker of rare, collectible luxury eyewear that combines historical motifs with precious materials, innovative production methods, and ethical business practices.

 

The intern will assist with all marketing tasks, must thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask.

 

- Motivated and dedicated candidate

- Knowledge of and interest in the fashion industry is preferred

- Familiar with social media channels and interest in social media strategy

- Excellent writing and communication skills

- Excellent organizational skills, detailed oriented

Responsibilities:

 

- Assisting and expending relevant press contact (CondeNast, Hearst, key stylists, Luxury/Fashion magazines, key influencers)

- Assisting with all areas of J.M.M. digital media content strategy including: Instagram, Digital Newsletters, Facebook Ads and content

- Analyzing datas and create reports using Google Analytics, Klavyio, Shopify and Instagram

- Monitoring luxury fashion, beauty and lifestyle on social media to create case studies of social campaigns

- Awareness of emerging digital platforms and apps

- Assisting with Campaigns and launches production 

- Assisting with the execution of Special Projects and Collaborations

- Other tasks as assigned

Overview

 

Jacques Marie Mage seeks a Director of E-commerce to join the Founder/CEO and Los Angeles based team to lead and execute on the ecommerce and digital marketing strategy and execution. The Director will lead the digital transformation (including re-platforming), strategy and team to drive revenue, profit and operational performance. The successful candidate will be an individual who embodies and upholds our values, is entrepreneurial, resourceful and energetic, and a rigorous and disciplined business leader. S/he will build and lead a highly capable team and will reports to the CEO.

 

Responsibilities and Duties
 
A) Leadership
  • Identify and implement overall digital and ecommerce strategy in alignment with Jacques Marie Mages business and growth objectives
  • Drive revenue, develop strategic and operational roadmap for the team, manage execution and measure and deliver results (Full P&L responsibility for E-commerce)
  • Create a best-in-class digital presence, ecosystem and ecommerce experience with a selected platform.
  • Demonstrate ability to create constructive and customer focused teams and cross department dynamics, while leading Digital Marketing team to drive exponential growth
  • Oversee the implementation of digital solutions and develop a long range plan for information architecture.
  • Develop annual ecommerce budget, including advertising spend, ROAS, customer growth, and other appropriate metrics; develop strategic and operational plan to deliver against customer, revenue and EBITDA goals

 

B) Digital Marketing Expertise
  • Develop and drive digital marketing strategy of Jacques Marie Mage, with a balanced focus on attracting valuable new customers and creating enduring relationships with existing customers
  • Utilize and measure all digital channels as a tool to increase brand awareness, purchases and loyalty in line with growth objectives across all segments of the business; create, test and scale top-of-funnel customer growth initiatives to drive qualified traffic
  • Define measurements of digital marketing effectiveness, implement tracking and reporting on measurements; communicate performance regularly
  • Express clear needs and partner with creative team on website content generation; maximize returns through testing, site optimization and improving online customer experience
  • Work to consistently improve ROI through the refinement of customer insights to improve segmentation, targeting, and messaging to drive more personalized content to customers; share insights and tools with appropriate teams
 
Skills & Qualifications
  • Understanding of brand equity and luxury positioning. 
  • Successful track record leading eCommerce experience, as well as innovative digital marketing campaigns that proved successful, preferably in high-growth, entrepreneurial environments and a strong consumer brandprefer 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong previous technical exposure, including working with web design, construction and ecommerce integration, SEO, user experience, social media deployment, database building, and experience with E-Commerce platforms.
  • Track record in web / E-commerce project management
  • Previous P&L ownership with ability to develop and manage a budget
  • Punctual, driven and self-motivated
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact and present effectively with all levels of management
