Translating to Water Blessings, this sterling silver pendant embodies prayers for life-giving waters. At its center rests a luminous Apache Blue turquoise cabochon, secured within a fine 18k gold bezel. Rising above, an engraved Eagle Feather motif evokes the blessing of clouds, while three engraved sets of lines flow along the sides, representing the sacred rivers (the San Juan, Animas, and La Plata) descending from Dibé Ntsaa (Black Mountain) in Colorado. These lines converge on the reverse, where a recessed oval with tufa-stone texture symbolizes a pool of water, the source and sustenance of life. At its heart, an inset 18k gold JMM insignia completes the composition, a quiet convergence of tradition, symbolism, and modern design.
