The 1948 and the 1980 were the first of many limited-edition eyewear expressions to emerge from our inaugural engagement with the works of Stanley Kubrick, serving as a celebration of the life and creative output of one of the most brilliant, influential, and original filmmakers in cinematic history. This unique collection of eyewear is an homage to the legacy of cinema’s obsessive genius, a sartorial tribute to the unflinching vision and aesthetic ingenuity that solidified him as an auteur for the ages.

Limited-edition spectacles are received in a custom monograph box set in white linen with embossed details in black, which includes an envelope eyewear case in pebbled black leather, a microfiber cleaning cloth, a stainless steel screwdriver with burgundy enamel details, and a letterpress authenticity card with collection details and handwritten edition number. Eyewear is accompanied by a special booklet that includes exclusive essays and archival photography, exploring the ambition, focus, and artistry that would solidify Mr. Kubrick as an auteur for the ages.
