JOHN & YOKO by JACQUES MARIE MAGE

A tribute to the storied love and legacy of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, this special series of limited-edition spectacles handcrafted in Japan celebrate a remarkable relationship shaped by the spirit of collaboration and creativity. Inspired by the actual eyewear the couple was frequently photographed wearing during their time living in New York City, these heirloom-quality collectibles are a homage to one of culture's most influential couples.

DR. DREAM

Pursue your personal vision in limited-edition spectacles inspired by the actual eyewear worn by John Lennon in the studio while working with Yoko Ono on their album, Double Fantasy (1980). Distinguished by their softly sloping brow, distinct keyhole nose design, and our signature precious metal details, this is a classic mid-century style handcrafted with early-eighties cool, designed to compel you to, in the words of Lennon, “Produce your own dream.”

OCEAN CHILD

Bold declarations of independence and swirling emotion, these late-‘70s-inspired spectacles are informed by the actual eyewear worn by Yoko Ono in the studio while working with John Lennon on their album, Double Fantasy (1980). A sumptuous expression that’s equal parts high fashion and performance-art piece, whose name references a poetic phrase in Lennon’s “Julia,” drawn from the translation of Ono’s first name.

Collector’s Box Set

The limited-edition spectacles of the John & Yoko by JMM collection are received in a special monograph box featuring artwork by John Lennon, and included are: a custom envelope eyewear case; an oversized commemorative cleaning cloth; and a letterpress authenticity card with handwritten limited-edition number and craftsman’s signature.

Exclusive Vinyl Reissue

While supplies last, spectacles will also be accompanied by an exclusive vinyl reissue of Double Fantasy, the landmark 1980 album that belongs in its own sacred space, living in a kind of purgatory between the emergent punk of the late-‘70s, and the brightly colored new wave that would dominate the years ahead.
