Originally released as part of the Spring 2019 collection, the “Bianca” are luxuriant, ‘70s-inspired spectacles that channel the unmistakable presence of a woman who moved effortlessly between spectacle and substance.

Handcrafted with voluminous, TV-shaped lenses and a bold, sculptural silhouette, these are statements of scale and poise, expressions that capture the visual language of an era defined by bold expression.

Bianca Jagger first entered the cultural imagination as the wife of The Rolling Stone’s Mick Jagger, and soon became an emblem of Studio 54’s most mythic nights. But as the flashbulbs faded, a more complex figure emerged: one whose life extended far beyond the velvet rope, shaped as much by intellect and conviction as by style.

The late 1970s produced many icons, but few whose image carried such depth. Moving between discothèque and diplomatic stage, Jagger embodied a rare duality, serving for a time as both a symbol of decadence and a voice for justice.

The “Bianca” reflects this tension, reminding us that what seems like hypocrisy to some feels like a dynamic sense of self to others. Certainly, with these slyly sophisticated spectacles, we get a sense that what is seen is only part of the story, and that true influence often resides beyond the image.

MORE THAN THE IMAGE

Amid the flash and frenzy of late-’70s nightlife, Bianca Jagger emerged as an icon, her image immortalized in moments of glamour, her presence radiating through the mirrored excess of Studio 54 and beyond. But what endured was not the spectacle alone. Behind the photographs was a figure of intellect and intention, whose life would extend far beyond the velvet rope, shaped by activism, advocacy, and an unwavering commitment to justice that proved the image was only ever the beginning.

THE SUPER SEVENTIES

If Origins marked a return to first principles, our second curated collection of archival gems turns toward a moment of pure release, an era when form gave way to feeling and spectacle became a way of life.

With this second offering from Réserve, we step into the charged atmosphere of the late-1970s, from NYC—where the boundaries between nightlife, art, music, and cinema dissolved into a fevered, electric exchange—to London’s Savile Row, where bold creations, over-the-top window displays, and champagne-fueled appointments brought a radical new approach to tailoring and contemporary style.

The Super Seventies draws from this fevered convergence, assembling a tightly edited offering of rare spectacles that embody the era’s sense of elegance, irreverence, and provocation. These are objects shaped by a cultural moment where disco met downtown, fashion became performance, and the night offered myriad ways of escape.

Here, we do not simply remember, but revel in archival styles that channel the personalities and provocations of a decade where the boundaries between nightlife, art, music, and cinema dissolved into a single, shimmering continuum…
