A handsome tribute to an immoderate pastime, this Martini Racing steering wheel pairs Italian craftsmanship with the familiar credo “Racing is life.” Engraved alongside a facsimile of Steve McQueen’s signature, the line from Le Mans distills the appeal of a sport measured in seconds and pursued for a lifetime.

Released in 1971, Le Mans gave the Porsche 917 an extraordinary second life on screen, with McQueen driving its Gulf-blue-and-orange incarnation into cinematic history. That same year, another 917 won the actual race beneath the blue and red stripes of Martini Racing.
